First Day of School

Today is the kids first day of school! I cant believe how fast the summer came and went! Kyle is in Kindergarten and his teacher seems really great! So we are hoping for a great school year for him!! Kaitlyn started 3rd grade today and her teacher is really nice, Kaitlyn is a great student and I know she will have a good school year! Haili started 5th grade today and boy does that make me feel old LOL! We met Haili's teacher last week and she is so wonderful! Jeremy talked to her again this morning and found out her husband works for the Sherriff's office and after Jeremy saw a picture of him he realized he has seen him out on the streets before, how cool is that! What a small world! Haili is an awesome student and always does great in school so it is going to be a great school year for everyone! YAY!

Jonas Brothers Kickball Game!

I took Kaitlyn and Kyle to see the Jonas Brothers plain in a kickball game this week against Dj's John Jay and Rich. It was so much fun! Jordin Sparks and Frankie Munez were also there! The Jonas Brothers team was called the "Kickballer's" and they won 9-0!

Disneyland 2009

We spent 5 days at Disneyland and California adventure! We had such a great time but were exhausted by the 5th day, but now we cant wait to go back!!!!

Firework Show ...

The fire work show at Disneyland is so amazing! They shoot off the fireworks over Cinderellas castle and then tinkerbell and dumbo come out and fly over the castle, it is so cool!!!

Disneyland

Santa Monica Beach

We spent 3 days at Santa Monica Beach! We had such a great time and we even saw a dolphin really close to shore, Jeremy thought it was a shark at first! LOL!

Outside Michael Jackson's House

Michael Jackson Died the day we got to California so that is all we heard about our whole trip. This is a picture of outside his home, they had it all blocked off and police everywhere! PRETTY CRAZY TO SEE!

Live Paparazzi Show

When we were staying in West Hollywood we got to see a live paparazzi show! Lindsey Lohan was in the Diesel store and there were about 10 paparazzi swarming her when she came out, it was so crazy to see in person, when she pulled out of the parking lot they all hopped in there cars and followed her, what a life! The white BMW is her car and she is in the middle of all those paparazzi but you cant see her in this picture.

We LOVE Washington DC!

Secret Service Men

It was so crazy, we were standing on the side walk and all of a sudden secret service men start blocking off all roads, they wont let anyone cross the street and then all these black suburbans come flying out of the white house with these big guys with huge rifles hanging out of the windows. It was so crazy, they do that every time the President leaves the white house. But of course all the cars looking the same so you have no idea which car he is in. It was really cool to see!

THE WHITE HOUSE

This is a picture of the White House from the top of the Washington Monument!

Police Week in Washington DC

Here are pictures from the Candlelight Vigil. This is where they honored all the fallen officer from 2008. It was a very emotional experience. They have a huge wall where they engrave all the names of the officers that have died in the line of duty. Family members and friends can put pictures and flowers by the name of the officer. We saw a little boy taping a letter next to his dads name that he had wrote for him. It was the saddest thing I have ever seen, we all lost it at that point.

Washington DC Trip May 2009

Jeremy and I went to DC in May with Jeremy's partner Kyle and his wife Christie for Police week. Every year DC has police week and they do it to honor all the fallen officer from the year before. It was such an amazing experience and we had a great time. We have never been to DC before so we had a lot of fun! We plan on going back every year!
